CHEERO ("we," "us," or "the Service") lets users declare personal challenges as text and receive support from other users through reactions, private chat, and video calls. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the CHEERO mobile app, why we collect it, how it is used, who we share it with, and the choices you have. CHEERO is intended for users aged 18 and over only.
The table below lists each category of information CHEERO handles, and the specific purpose it is used for. We do not collect any information beyond what is needed to provide the features described.

| Challenges and reactions | The text of challenges you post, and your Support / Celebrate / With You reactions to other users' challenges, are the core content of the Service and are shown publicly within the app. |
| Chat messages | Messages you exchange in an approved private chat are stored so your conversation history is available to you. Messages are visible only to you and the other participant — never publicly. |
| Camera & microphone | Used only while a video call you started or accepted is in progress, to transmit your audio and video to the other participant in real time. CHEERO does not record or store video calls. |
| Photo library | Accessed only at the moment you choose to select an image to use as your profile photo. |
| Purchase records | A record of Cheer Pass purchases (which fixed-duration pass, and when) is kept so we can grant you the video call time you paid for. |
| Push notification token | A device token used solely to deliver notifications about chat requests and video call requests — CHEERO does not send any other type of push notification. |
| Install & usage analytics | With your separate permission (App Tracking Transparency), aggregate, non-identifying data about install sources, sign-ups, and purchases is collected to help us understand how the app is performing. |

We do not send notifications about challenge achievements or status changes, we do not read your chat messages for any purpose other than delivering them, and we never use your content or activity to serve targeted advertising.
CHEERO relies on a small number of specialized service providers to operate — for account authentication and data storage, for relaying video call audio/video in real time, for processing in-app purchases, and for install/usage analytics. Each provider receives only the minimum data needed to perform its specific function, and is contractually required to protect that data to the same standard set out in this Privacy Policy.

CHEERO is intended for users aged 18 and over only, and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that an account belongs to a user under 18, we will suspend the account and delete the associated data.
Because our service providers operate internationally, your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside the country you live in. Wherever your data is processed, we require it to be protected consistently with this Privacy Policy.
We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time as the Service evolves. Any change will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and material changes will be highlighted here for a reasonable period.
